The minimalist picture below is not yet on the site, but I am sharing it here to help illustrate the following thoughts about my style.
There is an element of spontaneity in my clicks, often âencouragedâ by the juxtapositions I saw in the split second before the capture.
I donât label myself as a street photographer, but I do recognise in myself the suggestion, often associated with them, that great images can be a kind of visual poetry.
I see form and harmony in an image and feel a mood that suggests a something that is going on beneath the surface. Capturing it all is the challenge, and I am aware that post-processing can destroy rather than enhance. Even in my digital art images I hope the essence of the original, the kernel, is still there.
